Dream Hieroglyphs Full Course
ABOUT THE FULL COURSE
DREAM HIEROGLYPHS
x9 TWO-HOUR RECORDINGS WITH HOMEWORKING ACTIVITIES, GUIDED HYPNAGOGIC MEDITATION SESSIONS, AND ONLINE GROUP DREAMWORK SPACE
The series is a dream study of 9 very magical hieroglyphs.
All participants can attend live and will receive recordings of the 9 online sessions (each one will be two hours long starting at 6pm GMT), extra resource materials and video links, and invites to optional in-person meet-ups (London, Istanbul, Athens).
At the end of this course you will have a beautiful dreambook, full of potent and magical signs that will protect you whilst you sleep and dream.
You do not have to be a great artist to take part in this course, but I am sure you will discover that learning to draw the hieroglyphs, and contemplation of their multi-layered meaning, is a truly magical and meditative practice.
As I have discovered, this script is very sympathetic to dreaming. When I started studying Egyptian hieroglyphs I found them almost immediately popping up in my dreamspace.
Each session will explore a particular hieroglyph, its phonetic value, its inclusion in specific ancient Egyptian words, its etymology and associations, and deeper levels of meaning.
For each session you will draw a hieroglyph, meditate upon the image and record impressions in meditation and dreamstates. I have found that hieroglyphs reveal themselves in dreamsstates beautifully.
The hieroglyphs I have chosen to focus on are featured HERE - for me they represent some of the most potent and complex thoughtforms of the script, they are not just letters in a pictoral alphabet, they are protective, amuletic, and magical signs with complex layered meaning and represent the concept of the 'medu netjer' - the Egyptian name for the script (God's words) so well.
The world, the cosmos, is always communicating and history tells us the gods and goddesses speak to us most clearly to us in dreams.
I strongly recommend getting yourself a copy of Stephane Rossini's 'Egyptian Hieroglyphics' for scribal practice, as well as a proper scribal toolkit. Email me for suggestions for your scribal toolkit. Rossini's graphic book, pictured below with link, just has the best large and most useful illustrations of individual hieroglyphs, and is still my absolute favourite to work from.
