NEXT LIVE ONLINE COURSE:
DREAM HIEROGLYPHS
The series is a dream study of 9 very magical hieroglyphs.
All participants can attend live and will receive recordings of the 9 online sessions (each one will be two hours long starting at 6pm GMT), extra resource materials and video links, and invites to optional in-person meet-ups (London, Istanbul, Athens).
At the end of this course you will have a beautiful dreambook, full of potent and magical signs that will protect you whilst you sleep and dream.
You do not have to be a great artist to take part in this course, but I am sure you will discover that learning to draw the hieroglyphs, and contemplation of their multi-layered meaning, is a truly magical and meditative practice.
As I have discovered, this script is very sympathetic to dreaming. When I started studying Egyptian hieroglyphs I found them almost immediately popping up in my dreamspace.
Each session will explore a particular hieroglyph, its phonetic value, its inclusion in specific ancient Egyptian words, its etymology and associations, and deeper levels of meaning.
For each session you will draw a hieroglyph, meditate upon the image and record impressions in meditation and dreamstates. I have found that hieroglyphs reveal themselves in dreamsstates beautifully.
The hieroglyphs I have chosen to focus on are featured HERE - for me they represent some of the most potent and complex thoughtforms of the script, they are not just letters in a pictoral alphabet, they are protective, amuletic, and magical signs with complex layered meaning and represent the concept of the 'medu netjer' - the Egyptian name for the script (God's words) so well.
The world, the cosmos, is always communicating and history tells us the gods and goddesses speak to us most clearly to us in dreams.
I strongly recommend getting yourself a copy of Stephane Rossini's 'Egyptian Hieroglyphics' for scribal practice, as well as a proper scribal toolkit. Email me for suggestions for your scribal toolkit. Rossini's graphic book, pictured below with link, just has the best large and most useful illustrations of individual hieroglyphs, and is still my absolute favourite to work from.

SESSION ONE 1st of Feb 2026
RESTING SNAKE
The resting snake hieroglyph, phonetic value 'dj' will be the focus of our first #DreamHieroglyphs session.
I am super excited about this course. Every sign has its own magic and the snake pictured here is something splendid.
The session will be online on the 1st of February 2026 at 6pm (GMT)
I am offering in-person group work as a supplement to this, so if you are in any area that I'm in, chiefly - Hastings, London, Istanbul or Epidavros, give me a shout if you would like to get together and SCRIBE!
I would also like to get an online chat group together as there is simply SO much to contemplate when it comes to the signs I have chosen for this course.
I personally guarantee you that you will start dreaming in hieroglyphs!
For the resting snake we will draw and paint her, we will talk about the ancient Egyptian words that include her, especially the name of Thoth (Djhuety) and djet (an interesting ancient Egyptian metaphysical concept of time).
Also during this course we will touch upon the interpretation of your own dreams using the hieroglyphs as a tool of divination and oracular vision. We will also explore how all of this relates to Asklepios and his sacred serpents.
You know AI cannot draw hieroglyphs? It cannot dream with hieroglyphs, but you most definitely can.

Holistic Healing Sanctuaries of Asklepios At Epidavros and Pergamon
2 HOUR ONLINE PRESENTATION AND WORKSHOP
Sunday December 7th 8pm (UK)
Cost: £30
A presentation exploring the philosophy, architecture, design, and Asklepiade healing methods an ancient pilgrim would have encountered at two of Asklepios's most celebrated sanctuaries in Greece and Turkey.
From the sublime architecture, sacred theatre and healing springs, to the dormitories and feasting halls - the Asklepion represents all that is good and great about holisitic healing methods in ancient Hellas.
We know of about 300 ancient Asklepions around the Mediterranean, but the ones at Epidavros and Pergamon are two of the most well known.
These centres functioned as early hospitals, sanatoriums and a sort-of sacred spa. They were pilgrimage sites, where the afflicted sought out a cure from the divine physician Asklepios, son of Apollo.
We know from surgical tools found onsite that the Asklepiades were performing surgeries, and that ancient Greek 'Root Cutters' created detailed and voluminous herbals that provide evidence for a really impressive knowledge of the properties of a vast range of herbs, flowers, trees and plants. Dioscorides even describes an early anaesthetic made by bruising mandrake and steeping the root in wine.

LUCID DREAMING 101 with the Psychedelic Society
Mon 26th Jan 2026
7pm – 9pm GMT (UTC +00:00)
Lucid dreaming is an art that pretty much anyone and everyone can master. Lucidity can be an experience of bliss, of deep remembering beyond the individual, and it provides us with a reminder of the interconnectedness of all life and memory.
In this special session for the Psychedelic Society, dream researcher, author, and dream retreat guide Sarah Janes will take you through a Lucid Dreaming 101. We will review the mechanisms and triggers for episodes of lucidity in an attempt to work out a personal path towards the lucid state, if it is not something you are already familiar with. READ MORE
