SARAH JANES
Author, researcher, curator, retreat/workshop facilitator and public speaker, Sarah Janes specialises in the ancient history and culture of dreaming and has been an enthusiastic lucid dreamer since childhood. Sarah is passionate about the potential of dreaming for physical, emotional, creative and spiritual upliftment, not just for individuals, but for culture and society.
Sarah Janes is an English author, curator, and retreat leader based between Archaia Epidavros in Greece, Istanbul, Turkey,and England.
Sarah's book Initiation into Dream Mysteries: Drinking from the Pool of Mnemosyne explores the history and culture of dreaming.
Sarah founded Dream Palace Athens and now runs Dream Mysteries Retreats in Greece, where she takes dream pilgrims to sleep in ancient Hellenic sleep temples and oracle sites. She also works at Esoteric Tours in Istanbul, curating special interest tours in Anatolia and volunteers for New Hermopolis in Egypt with Hermetic Philosopher Dr. Mervat Nasser.
Sarah is currently working with members of the IASD (International Association for the Study of Dreams) on programming for the Delphic Dreaming Symposium in Delphi, Greece in 2026. She has featured regularly on podcasts and in conferences in Europe.
Sarah is the host and creator of Explorers Egyptology, an Egyptology lecture series on YouTube. She has been co-host for Anthony Peake's popular Consciousness Hour series for several years.
