Can you hear the moon? Can you read the writing on the waves? Do you smell the spiral mysteries of the murex shell?

Step into an immersive dream workshop where myth, nature, and the subconscious converge. Tyrian Purple—an ancient dye extracted from the murex shell—was revered for its connection to royalty, divinity, and the goddess Tanit, a symbol of cosmic wisdom and lunar power.

In this session, we shall: 

Uncover the story of Tyrian Purple, from the alchemy of the murex shell to its sacred significance in ancient rites.

Honor Tanit, goddess of fertility, life, and the moon, who throbs in potent purple.

Using synaesthetic techniques awaken our dream senses and infuse them with the motion of the sea, the moon, and mythic color.

Session includes a 20-minute guided hypnagogic journey

Suggestions:

Create a space for dreaming and reflection with items that connect to the theme.

Optional accoutrements:
An eyemask
A seashell (symbolic of the murex, keeper of the ocean’s story)
A glass of pomegranate, grape juice or wine
Purple ink for writing/drawing art supplies (paint, pencils, or fabric)
A purple candle
Essential oil or perfume violet, lavender, or other floral tones
