As part of July's Dream Museum tour I will be inviting participants to collaborate on an experimental Dream Archaeology project. Working with a new finding from the TaÅŸ Tepeler site of Karahantepe, we shall experiment with using dreaming as a novel, intuitive research method. I will publish our dream findings, including essays, sketches, films, photos, dream poems, songs, pottery, dances, and anything else you feel drawn to. The object(s) will be revealed at the British Museum on 7th of July and guests will have one month to work with the material before I begin putting it together for publication.
New Dream Mysteries tote bag design available!
From Asklepios to Zaqīqu, from Easter Island to Epidavros…
Join me for a fun and thorough exploration of the British Museum to discover almost ALL things dreamy, dream, and sleep related!
Everything you didn’t know you needed or wanted to know about the history and culture of dreaming, and more besides (including historical cake)!
Ticket holders will receieve a Dream Mysteries goody bag full of Greek and Anatolian dream goodies, as well as a sample of Isla Alma Ray's beautiful Blue Lotus Attar Perfume Oil.
I will also send you a guided hypnagogic audio track inspired by the tour for homework dreamings.
If you like bring a packed lunch for when we have a break. We will probably go out after the tour somewhere local for coffee or snacks. I will be making an ancient recipe inspired cake for our tea break.
Participants will be given some papyrus from Egypt so that you can scribe your own 'Letter to the Gods' and incorporate it into a portable shrine to honour the best dream deities!
