Many of us dream of wonderful places, fantastic landscapes, childhood homes and futuristic cities.

Dream mapping can help you make sense of these locations and help to reconfirm dream memory. Creating a coherent dream landscape will help you make sense of the psychic archetype and landscaping of your dreaming mind. It is a valuable tool to increase the likelihood of lucidity, as the foundation of lucidity is remembering who and where you are. You can build on your dream map with past, present and future dreams.

DREAM MEMORY PALACE

Reinvigorated recently in the collective consciousness via the TV show Sherlock - A Memory Palace is an imaginary location in your mind where you can store mnemonic images. The most common type of memory palace involves making a journey through a place you know well, like a building or town. Along that journey there are specific locations that you always visit in the same order. The location are called loci, which is Latin for locations. The Memory Palace mnemonic device was described by Roman orator Quintilian:

"...when we return to places, after an absence of some time, we not only recognise them, but recollect also what we did in them. Persons whom we saw there, and sometimes even thoughts that passed within our minds, recur to our memory."
